The trees stood still about the cabin, the breeze gentle through the hanging boughs of the great willow tree, the animals still resting quietly in their pens, a smell of heat seemed to rise slowly like the sun. A small stream babbled away down a small hill. A porch wraps gently around the front and left side of the cabin, with rough wooden rails and pillars.
